Public Health Nurse
Full-time, Mon- Fri
Salary Range: $27 – $32
Performs registered nursing duties as established by policies and procedures set forth by the USDA/Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, the Better Birth Outcomes – Comprehensive (BBO-C). program, the Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes Reporting System (APORS) Program, Genetics, Immunizations, the Lead Program, Communicable Disease Program, and the State of Illinois.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Proficient computer skills
- TB Test and immunizations (exemptions forms available)
PREFERRED:
- Current CPR certification
- Phlebotomy skills
Family Resource Advocate
Full-Time, 40 hours/week
Salary Range: $21.00-$25.00/hour
Provides case management and family advocacy for Effingham County residents through the Effingham County Family Resource Center with focus on DCFS intact families, DCFS Alumni and families at risk of DCFS involvement, providing resource navigation and support, court navigation and support, and case management, planning and facilitating individual and group events to address service plan needs of each family.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in social services, family case management, child welfare or a similar field.
- Experience working with at risk populations and child welfare preferred.
- Must be able to work independently in a startup environment
- Detail oriented and proficient Microsoft applications
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Oral and written fluency required
- TB Test and immunizations (exemptions forms available)
