Public Health Nurse
Full-time, Mon- Fri
Performs registered nursing duties as established by policies and procedures set forth by the USDA/Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program, the Family Case Management (FCM) program, the Adverse Pregnancy Outcomes Reporting System (APORS) Program, Genetics, Immunizations, the Lead Program, Communicable Disease Program, and the State of Illinois.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- Proficient computer skills.
PREFERRED:
- Current CPR certification.
- Phlebotomy skills.
Environmental Health Inspector
Full-time, Mon- Fri
The Environmental Health Inspector will conduct activities and deliver services in Environmental Health & Tobacco Prevention programs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates Degree required with a minimum of 9 credit hours of science.
- IL Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 30 credit hours of science
- LEHP or REHS/RS preferred, or willing to obtain
Early Childhood Consultant
Full-time, Mon- Fri
Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around program event need and families served.
Serves Prevention Initiative families (pregnant families and children 0-3) utilizing the Parents as Teachers curriculum model and plans.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Family and Social Services, Family and Consumer Sciences or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with young children and/or parents.
- Experience working with at risk populations preferred.
- Parents as Teachers Certification required (may be acquired after hire).
