Financial Assistant
Full-Time
Starting salary Range: $20 – $22 dependent on qualifications
Provides accounting functions such as Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, with an emphasis on Insurance Billing. Also provides back-up for Clinic & Reception phones during busy times.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Accounting (includes but not limited to):
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payment posting
- Bank deposits
- Resolving time clock discrepancies
- Tracking employee benefit time
- Maintaining asset listing
- Updating reports
- Work closely with employees to ensure Payroll reports, Time Studies, and Purchasing documents are complete and turned in, in a timely manner, and properly filed.
Insurance Billing (includes but not limited to):
- Use EMR to submit clean claims to insurance companies
- Examine nurse encounters to ensure proper CPT coding (will be trained on the job)
- Find/Use available resources to prevent, follow up, and resolve denied claims
- Research to stay up to date on reimbursement rates and CPT code changes
Job Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Accounting or related field
- Computer knowledge
- Excel, Microsoft Outlook / Office 365, navigating system network and internet
- Detail oriented and organized
- Problem solving skills
- Self-starter and able to work independently
- Able to prioritize to meet many deadlines
- Valid Driver’s License
Public Health Vaccination Nurse – PRN RN/LPN
PRN – Part-Time as needed
Salary Range: $25 – $35 dependent on qualifications and experience
As our vaccination nurse you will help with vaccinating our community, on an as-needed basis during our busy vaccination periods.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Illinois RN or LPN license
- Experience with immunization programs preferred
