About Us
The mission of the Effingham County Health Department is to assure that high quality services and education in the area of public health, including personal and environmental health, are readily available and accessible to the residents of Effingham County. It is the expectation of the Health Department to inform and educate the community regarding the allocation of Federal, State, and local resources for public health, along with proper policy, procedures, and compliance of public health requirements. The Effingham County Health Department strives on a daily basis to ensure a high level of health and safety among residents and families for the betterment of the community.
The purpose of the Effingham County Health Department is promoting and protecting the health and well-being of all who live, work, and play in Effingham County.
